After the investment gets covered trough fuel savings, solar powered cars will reveal their true affordability. Car related expenses can drop close to zero if maintenance bills are not counted.

Such vehicles will become more popular as the major manufacturers will come with their own electric car versions. There have been some attempts in the past but the technology at that time faced many challenges. With the aid of new energy storage technologies, cars that run on fossil fuel can become extinct.
