Dozens of women marched up and down the city's 16th Street Mall carrying Hillary signs and homemade placards reading, “Don’t shut us out! Don’t underestimate our determination to be heard! Stop delegate intimidation!”

The Clinton supporters allege that convention delegates were bullied into pledging their allegiance for Obama because party leadership viewed him as the more viable candidate.

As the protesters chanted, “We won’t fall in line, we won’t shut up! Elected not selected! Where’s our party?” they were met by many angry Obama supporters who aggressively confronted them.

“She lost and this really doesn’t help,” one Obama supporter yelled at the Clinton women. “We’ll end up with McCain.” According to Monday CNN report, more than 20 percent of Clinton supporters now say they will vote for Republican John McCain over Obama. But protest participant Simone DuBois of Oakland, Calif. said the outcry wasn't about the difference between the two Democrat rivals, but rather about problems within the selection process. “This isn’t about an injustice to Sen. Clinton, it’s about an injustice to us as voters,” DuBois said. "Hillary is still the better candidate."

By Monday night, as Michelle Obama gave a personal endorsement of her husband from the Pepsi Center's stage, a few dozen Clinton supporters took to Cheesman Park to continue their rally.
