Fort Collins Says "No" to union power: 70% reject binding arbitration

Voters in Fort Collins have overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to grant municipal unions binding arbitration rights in contract disputes with the city. The ballot initiative, opposed by the entire city council, was the third such unsuccessful attempt by public-sector unions to gain ground in Larimer County.
