In a Tuesday press release, Gov. Bill Ritter, a Democrat, announced that he has named former state Rep. Alice Madden, D-Boulder, as the state's first Climate Change Coordinator. Madden is term limited and officially done with her term in early January. Maybe about that same time her son will be able to leave the house again."
