Breaking News: Todd caught red-handed with potato chips!

January 23, 2009

From an outsider's perspective, those state legislative committee meetings certainly look long and boring. Bringing in a snack and some caffeine to get you through the day makes a lot of sense, but not when you're the sponsor of legislation mandating healthy snacks in public schools and you get caught munching on greasy potato chips.

Anybody who cares about the economy should vote Schaffer

November 1, 2008

"How can anybody who cares about the economy, which is obviously by far the most important issue of this election, vote for Mark Udall? Congressman Udall has no understanding of economics, and almost everything he thinks he knows is wrong. Bob Schaffer has a deep understanding of economics (in part because he, unlike Mark Udall, has worked in the private sector including starting his own company) and is far more qualified to be our next senator, particularly during such difficult economic times.

Democratic Senate candidate Mark Udall posted his best fundraising quarter of the campaign, raising $2.7 million through Sept. 30, about $800,000 more than his Republican rival, Bob Schaffer.

Schaffer collected $1.9 million in the quarter that ended Sept. 30, his campaign reported. That brings to $6.6 million the total the former congressman has raised."
