July 2, 2009U.S. Senators Mark Udall, D-Boulder, and Michael Bennet, D-Denver, have forwarded to Pres. Barack Obama their list of recommendations for two federal judicial vacancies in Colorado. Among the six names is Denver District Judge Christina Habas, known recently for her ruling that Ritter's mill levy freeze amounted to an unconstitutional property tax increase.

September 15, 2008Mark Grueskin, an attorney frequently used by Democrats to litigate heated political issues, is at it again. On Thursday, he tried to convince the Colorado Supreme Court to overturn a lower court ruling that a $3.8 billion tax increase, imposed by the state legislature and backed by Gov. Bill Ritter, violated a state constitutional amendment mandating that all tax increases require voter approval.

Even after having a controversial tax increase he championed slapped down in district court as unconstitutional, he remains undeterred. The Governor will use your tax dollars to backfill his endless promises to taxpayers.
