"Ben DeGrow, Mr. Bob, and Face the State have more photos, recaps, and reflections on the message of the evening--no retreat, no rebranding, no reflexive excommunication of the GOP/conservative/libertarian coalition.

Michelle Malkin graciously identified the Peoples Press Collective as one of the cyber-roots organizations coalescing around limited government, free markets, and liberty in general and promoting the message online."

Caldara's interview with Michelle Malkin

November 13, 2008

"Michelle Malkin did me the honor of coming on my radio show last night, and I have to say, it was plainly obvious she has a major crush on me. Don’t sweat it Michelle, it’s completely natural. We are really excited to have her as the keynote speaker at our annual Founders’ Night dinner tomorrow. We talked about that of course, in addition to the power of blogging and new media, the attack on her during the DNC, the misery of November 4th, and the future of the GOP. Here is the whole conversation we had, courtesy of 850KOA."

DNC convention hall

By Andrew Ripemoff

Day three here at the DNC, and you can smell the excitement in the air. Then again, that may be body odor from the protesters, because from my limited experience, we can add "deodorant" to the litany of items they’re boycotting.

What started out as a Monday night protest aimed at seizing money from the United States Mint for redistribution to the masses, quickly turned into a mob attack on conservative commentator Michelle Malkin. Instigated by Alex Jones, a Texas conspiracy theorist and radio show host, a crowd quickly swarmed around Malkin after she was discovered taking photos of the event. Jones called her “disgusting, wicked, new world order trash,” and “a monster.”
